I’m a communicator, writer, and researcher helping organisations, non-profits, researchers, and others share science, sustainability, and innovation in ways people can actually understand and use.
My background spans biological and environmental science, government roles, private-sector work, and more than a decade of experience in science communication. I now bring this experience together across three ventures, designed to support different needs:

I founded Ocean Oculus to support ocean-focused organisations with strategic communications, content creation, event support, and training for scientists and practitioners.

Alongside Ocean Oculus, I work as a freelance writer and researcher. I support organisations across the environment, sustainability, resilience, innovation, and research sectors. My work includes evidence synthesis, literature reviews, white papers, research support, and editorial writing.
